Wounded Warrior Registry and Support Group
The National Remember Our Troops Campaign is expanding our mission to provide recreational therapy to our wounded warriors returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

While today most of our activity centers around the Maryland, Washington, D.C. and northern Virginia areas, we do plan on expanding this activity nationwide.

NROTC publishes THE TROOPER JOURNAL, it is distributed to our troops at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, National Naval Medical Center, formerly known as Bethesda Naval Hospital, and Fort Meade, MD, where many of our wounded are also being housed. Distibution is also made to the various VA Hospitals and businesses throughout the Maryland, Washington, D.C. and northern Virginia areas. Inside THE TROOPER JOURNAL we usually include inspirational stories on how other wounded warriors are overcoming their injuries.

NROTC has just opened an internet based support group for all wounded troops to participate in. Participants in this group will be able to share their experiences and lend or receive the help and peer support so essential to the recovery process.

It is envisioned that a wide array of group events can be planned and carried out, and that these events could be a wonderful thing.

We at NROTC are very sensitive to the fact that not all injuries sustained while serving in our military are the result of combat and that not all injuries are physical, but rather, emotional.

This registry and support group is not only open to our wounded but to any and all active duty military and military veterans, loved-ones and caregivers of active duty military and military veterans, or any military supporter who would like to be plugged in with us for any reason.

God Bless all of you who are serving and who have served!

Please join our registry and support group.

Yours in freedom,
