August 2006 – NROTC PRESENTS GOLD STAR SERVICE BANNER TO THE FAMILY OF:
U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Edward Austin Koth
Age 30 from Towson, Maryland
Lost July 26, 2006 at Camp Victory, Iraq, after ordinance exploded during a disposal operation. A Gold Star Service Banner was presented to the family at the funeral home by the U.S. Navy Casualty Assistance Officer, on behalf NROTC. Petty Officer 2nd Class Edward Austin Koth was assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Eight, serving with Multinational Corps Iraq in Baghdad.

July 2006 – NROTC SENDS GOLD STAR SERVICE BANNER TO THE FAMILY OF:
U.S. Dept. of the Army Civilian Linda J. Villar
Age 41 from Franklinton, Louisiana
Lost Friday, June 03, 2005 in Baghdad, Iraq, from injuries sustained when a mortar struck her forward operating base. Linda Villar worked for the U.S. Army Field Support Command, Fort Stewart, Georgia.

Lost March 3rd, 2006 as the result of a vehicle accident in Al Qaim, Iraq, Al-Anbar Province. A Gold Star Service Banner was presented to the family following burial services by the U.S.M.C. Casualty Assistance Officer, on behalf of NROTC. Lance Corporal Snyder served with Combat Service Support Group 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force based in Twentynine Palms, California.

Lost June 4, 2005 in a vehicle accident near Bartlett, Texas, while home on leave after serving six months in Iraq. Corporal Randall Preusse served with the 386th Engineer Battalion 278th Regimental Combat Team based in Austin, Texas.

February 2005 – NROTC PRESENTS GOLD STAR SERVICE BANNER TO THE FAMILY OF:
U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Michael L. Starr Jr.
Age 21 from Edgemere, Baltimore County, Maryland
Lost January 26th, 2005 in helicopter crash that left 31 dead near Ar Rutbah, Iraq. A Gold Star Service Banner was presented to the family at the funeral home by Tom Ruley, NROTC president. Lance Corporal Starr Jr. served with the 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
