Sewing Comfort Pillows is A Great Way To Help Homeless Veterans

Washington High School Students in Washington, PA. volunteered to sew and donate a whole bunch of Comfort Pillows as a class project for their Practical Assessment Exploratory Systems (PAES) class. In addition to a logo provided by  to have printed on each pillow the students also signed their name on the bottom of the pillows they crafted, then  passed them onto homeless veterans. Garret Whiteside (National Director of ) said "That makes troops treasure them even more", noting how happy a Navy veteran was when he received a pillow from his home state.  

 

 

 

 

We would like to expand on this  program and provide more “Comfort Pillows” for our homeless veterans.
