NROTC’s Affiliate Program is designed primarily as a lost donation catch-all for our nationwide team of volunteer and paid Field and Donation Table Fundraisers when a donor prospect says they want to check us out on the internet before donating!… This Affiliate Program is also a great way for ANYONE to earn money referring their Facebook friends and others to our website. Learn more about being a successful Affiliate Email Marketer further below.

Many people when asked, are willing to support Veterans and Veteran families in need. NROTC’s website makes donating online “Simple and Easy!”

Provide a donor prospect with, OR POST your custom Affiliate Link and when someone visits our website via your affiliate link… any donation they make, from any page on our website, will be commissionable to you, at 20% of any donation.

At 20% commission and the fact that so many people want to donate to support our military and veteran community, this very well may be one of the best affiliate programs on the internet!

(It is not uncommon for charities to pay commissions to fundraisers)

Donation dollars do not automatically drop our of the sky or arrive unsolicited. Although we have been around for over twelve years, many good Americans have never heard of us!… We would much rather pay a 20% commission on a new-found donor’s donation than to have no donation at all!… So please… Help spread the word about the good work we do!… We can really use the help!

Internet and Social Media Fundraising has been instrumental helping many nonprofits grow. People telling their friends, and their friends telling their friends etc… can produce great results!

Knowing that some of you will come up with the idea of sending thousands of people to NROTC and make money the easy way, we need to remind you that SPAMMING ON THE INTERNET, (The sending of Unsolicited Commercial Email) IS ILLEGAL!… and could get NROTC in serious trouble and cause us to become BLACK-FLAGGED on the internet!… There is a correct and legal way to do it!

All Social Media Websites have “Terms of Use” agreements pertaining to posting limitations. Be certain you are familiar with these rules and abide by them otherwise you can have your posting privileges temporarily suspended or even revoked!

We therefore recommend that if you are thinking about sending out mass-emailings and/or posting to many of the tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of social media groups, that you be certain you understand the etiquette and laws pertaining to these practices! Doing this the wrong way could not only result in your NROTC affiliate link being removed but your job with NROTC (If you have one) could be in jeopardy. We WANT you to post to your Facebook page, other social media groups and/or even send email to an email list from time, just as long as you do not post to groups too often, too quickly or send too many emails at a time. (spamming)

Note: Some of you may be aware that there is an exception for nonprofit organizations regarding the sending of email. According to The Federal Trade Commission, “A request for a donation is NOT considered a commercial message and is therefore not considered as Unsolicited Commercial Email”. However there are strict rules in place in order for any mass emailings to be considered legal. Your email MUST be in compliance with The Federal Trade Commission’s CAN-SPAM Act. See:

FTC Facts – Can Spam
FTC Facts – Can Spam Compliance Guide

If you are thinking about sending mass emailings, even if they are CAN SPAM compliant, you can still be black-flagged and/or dropped from YOUR email host/provider for sending too many emails too quickly. Please, if you plan on doing mass-emailings, do it correctly and make sure you know the limitations of your email host/provider! We don’t want you… OR NROTC… getting in trouble for spamming on the internet!

Please keep any internet fundraising activity within the “Letter of the Law!”

NROTC “Affiliate” Commissions are dispersed monthly on or about the 15th of the month for the month preceding. You will have the option of being paid by PayPal or check by mail.

No commissions are paid until your earned commission is at least $25.00. Any commission less than $25.00 is retained by NROTC until your total commissions due equal $25.00 or more.

Cookies: Whenever someone first visits our website via your “Affiliate” link, a “cookie” will be set in their computer. This cookie is set to last for ONE YEAR! This means that if the person you originally referred to NROTC re-visits our website at time up to one year, even if they do not use your personal NROTC affiliate link… WE WILL REMEMBER WHO THEY ARE AND WHO FIRST SENT THEM… AND YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR AFFILIATE COMMISSION ON ANY FUTURE DONATION!… The only exception to this rule is if they remove “Cookies” from their computer.

After registering as an NROTC Affiliate you will be able to return at any time to see details on your visitor clicks and commissions you have earned simply by logging in. Click “Affiliate Login” from any NROTC webpage.

Please do us a big favor… Use the “Share” button at the top of this page to “Share” this NROTC Affiliate Opportunity with your Facebook friends and others.
