NROTC proudly participates with the:

Welcome to the
"Work At Home" Telemarketer ,TSR, Orientation Area!
- We are looking for a few good people -
Are you a big supporter of our military service personnel and their mission?

Does your heart go out for the military spouses, the children, the mom’s, the dad’s and other family members back home, who go to bed every night praying for their loved one’s safe return?

Does your heart go out to the families of our fallen heroes?

Here is a way where you can do something meaningful for the people who are at this very moment, fighting and sacrificing for the freedom of so many.

We are looking for certain qualified individuals who would enjoy being paid to work for a really great cause!

This is Tom Ruley, Founder and President of NROTC, welcoming you to our "private" offices in cyberspace! I am about to give you an explanation of the income opportunity NROTC has to offer. It is my attempt to give you enough information to make an intelligent decision on this.

There is no link to this page from our website. To get here, you must be invited. Please keep a record of this web address so you can easily return. Here is the address: http://www.nrotc.org/nrotcsales.htm

I hope that if you haven't already, you will spend some additional time here on our website checking out our other web pages, to learn about the rich history of the Blue Star and Gold Star Service Banners and the charitable activity of our organization. Click the "Home/Welcome" button above on the left to begin.

One person asked: Is this a job or is it for charity?... Answer: I understand your question. NROTC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It is not uncommon at all for a nonprofit to have expenses, and to pay salaries and commissions. For all of the work it takes to solicit a donation, we do not expect you to be a volunteer.

What we are offering is a W2 employer/employee, 100% work from home telemarketing situation. It is a "real" job and not an independent contractor position. We take care of all the withholding taxes for you and your paycheck is automatically deposited into your bank account weekly. This is to be considered a full time position. That being said, because you are working mostly unsupervised, we cannot actually control how many hours per week you work. We do expect our TSR's to maintain at least "minimum" production standards. Time off for personal business or recreation from time to time is okay. Just tell us.

Your job will be to solicit donations from businesses and/or individuals to support our mission.

You will need to have a nice quiet home office, a phone with unlimited long distance, a computer with an internet connection, and if calling businesses, a fax or subscription fax service like eFax.com. This job will require you to be on the phone and on the internet at the same time.

We welcome experienced sales professionals, stay at home moms and military veterans. We are sensitive to the needs of the disabled, especially recent military veterans from the front lines of freedom. If you are inexperienced in telesales but you are teachable and willing to work hard, you are welcome also. Being a experienced sales professional is NOT a requirement.

Our phone presentation is very short and sweet. Here is our Residential Phone Script.

Here is our Business Phone Script.

Right now, using these scripts, our average residential donation is $35.00 and our average business donation is $150.00

While you should be able to earn an a nice income with NROTC, we cannot offer you unlimited earnings potential. There is a ceiling on your earnings. Being a nonprofit organization and to comply with IRS rules, no commissioned representative or manager can earn more than a reasonable amount for services compared with similarly situated profit and nonprofit organizations. IRS is very clear and particular on this. The following is written into the NROTC Bylaws, Article V:

5.3 Commission Based Pay Salary Cap. "As a further assurance that a fair but not excessive amount to be re-numerated to the commission based sales representatives and sales managers, a salary cap of no more than $2,000.00, (two thousand dollars), per week will be paid to any sales representative or sales manager. Any weekly commission overage amount unpaid shall not accrue or be added to regular weekly commissions at a later date. This $2,000.00 per week maximum represents a very generous $104,000 per year and it is commensurate with performance and other top level professional sales producer and top level professional sales management positions." Note: This also means that the maximum commission paid on any one donation is $2,000.00.

Sorry, IRS required us to do this. If you can live with this commission cap... great!

Let me try to give you a better idea how this all works.

On all first time donations, we pay you 45% commission up to the cap. On renewals, which are defined as all donations after the first donation, we pay you 35% commission up to the cap. Renewals are issued at the discretion of NROTC management but we try to issue renewals to the TSR who first wrote the deal.

Find your comfort zone: You can call businesses, residential or a combination of both.

Either way, telemarketing can be tough!... It takes a special person to handle the rejection and continue making phone calls.

If you have the right attitude, it can actually be fun! The work we do is certainly rewarding enough in that what we do... IS IMPORTANT!

Honoring our military service members, our fallen heroes and their family members is the right thing to do!

You will be able to sleep good at night!

The size of the territory we assign you depends on your work related experience and whether you are working business, residential or both. We are also looking for managers who want to put together a team. Show us some good personal production and we can discuss this in more detail.

Not all of the territories/divisions are available right now because we are not yet registered and approved in every state that has registration requirements before they allow soliciting donations in there jurisdiction. We plan on getting registered and approved in all states over the next few months. We may start you in any given area and move you on to an area of your choice later.

Take a look at the states we are currently approved in Here

You do NOT have to live in one of the approved states to work for us! We will just have you calling to one of these states.

OBTAINING YOUR LEADS:

If you are working residential you will be able to obtain your leads online at no cost through Argali.Com

Nonprofit organizations like NROTC are exempt from the National Do Not Call Registry so there is no need to be overly concerned about this issue.

If you want to call "Business Leads", we require that you sign up with GoLeads.Com
If you are calling residential only, you are NOT REQUIRED to sign up with GoLeads.

Your GoLeads.Com unlimited business database monthly account cost is $9.95 per month after a one time $30.00 set up fee. We do not make any money by sending you to GoLeads. It is just the best lead system we have found so far. It gives you the owner or manager's name and number of employees. We are not totally comfortable asking you to spend anything per month for leads but until we have a better lead system available, this is what we are using.

You will find that the GoLeads database and sophisticated program is well worth $9.95 a month. It allows you to search a particular area by city, county and zipcodes. It is perfect for what we do!

GoLeads is much more than just a lead source. This program allows you to take notes on each lead and even to set a calendar with call back or appointment times. It is a completely paperless system. It allows you to easily micro manage your leads, while deleting the "NG's", the no goods so that they do not get in your way and slow you down. No kidding it is a very nice program!

THERE IS A 30 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE WITH GOLEADS!... If things aren't working out for you with NROTC in 30 days... contact GoLeads and get your $30.00 set up fee back! They are very good about issuing refunds. Now... Beyond your first 30 days with GoLeads, your contract is for one year at $9.95 per month or $119.40. OR... Pay a one-time charge of $99.95 for a 12-Month subscription and save $20.00.

Don't sign up with GoLeads yet. Wait until NROTC has signed off on your TSR Agreement and we have issued your first calling assignment.

INVOICING PROCEDURE:

Every time you get a promise for a donation, you will enter the donor information and pledge amount into our program that you will have installed on your computer. Click the "Send Pledge" button and the Pledgee/Donor information will be automatically emailed to NROTC Headquarters. If you would rather wait until the end of each day before sending in your Pledges, no problem, at the end of each day simply click the "Send Today's Batch" button. NROTC will mail out your pledges/invoices the same day or next day.

NROTC will charge you 50 cents for each invoice you direct us to send out, weekly. This charge will be deducted from your earnings weekly. We know that some of you wonder why we have you pay this expense. The answer is that if we did not require this, many TSR's would have us sending out all kinds of mail to people who have NOT made a reasonably firm commitment to return their pledge. We believe that putting the incentive on you to send out Only Good Stuff is the right thing to do. If you are doing your job right, your invoicing costs will not put you in the hole and you will earn a nice income.

This 50 cent charge per pledge also pays for NROTC to send out a 2nd Reminder Pledge out between 21 to 30 days on all unpaid invoices.

Lets take a closer look at this:

Most TSR's will agree that residential calling is easier than business calling. Residential calling will produce more pledges per hour spent on the phone although your average dollar amount per pledge will be less than if calling business.

If you put out 50 invoices per week your cost is $25.00 - We hope that you will view this from a business person's point of view as just a cost of doing business or as an outside sales person who must put gas in their car to get to their appointments.

  • If your average residential pledge is $25.00 you will put out $1,250.00 in pledges per week.
  • If 50% of them pay and return, your earnings will be $625 X 45% = $281.25
  • $281.25 - $25.00 = $256.25 earnings per week. - Agreed this is not a great amount.

  • Throw in some business calls and bring your average pledge up to $50.00
  • You will now put out $2,500.00 in pledges per week.
  • If 50% of them pay and return, your earnings will be $1,250 X 45% = $562.50
  • $562.50 - $25.00 = $537.50 earnings per week.
  • Call straight business and bring your average pledge up to $75.00.
  • You will now put out $3,750.00 in pledges per week.
  • If 50% of them pay and return, your earnings will be $1,875 X 45% = $843.75
  • $843.75 - $25.00 = $818.75 earnings per week.

YES!... Many businesses and individuals do contribute to NROTC!... Our solictation methods are proven and work very well!... It may take you a few weeks of putting out your invoices and building up your pipeline before the donations and commissions start rolling in. If you are putting in the time on the phone and you can hang in there with this until then, we know you will be pleased with the results... and this can all be done working from home, working your own hours!

By the way... If you are calling business, you can use a fax, a subscription fax service like eFax.com, WinFax.com or even your built in fax modem TO GREAT ADVANTAGE!... NO KIDDING... Asking a business owner if they would be willing to send in their donation right away if you send them a Pledge Form by fax REALLY WORKS!... Checks do arrive at NROTC Headquarters within days of faxes going out!!!... This obviously means that you get paid sooner!... AND... YOU DO NOT PAY NROTC ANYTHING WHEN YOU SEND OUT A FAX!!!

On all donations received at NROTC Headquarters by the end of each Saturday, you are paid Thursday of the following week.

To get a better idea how much you can earn... Read This

Okay so now in closing, let me just say that here at NROTC, it is not all about the money. It is all about honoring the troops and their families.

I hope that you have already read on our website that our mission is to provide one Blue Star Service Banner to each family of every trooper serving and one Gold Star Service Banner to each family of every trooper who was lost while serving during this Global War on Terrorism. Here are the actual numbers according to the U.S. Department of Defense: Total active duty troops today is 1,300,000. Every year 200,000 rotate in and 200,000 rotate out. Over the next five years the number serving and who have served will be over 2 million. Based on NROTC's cost to provide each service banner, we need to raise 50 million dollars to accomplish our mission. Successful fundraising is very important to us and if you join our team, we will be counting on you.

I hope you will join our team and help us accomplish our mission. It is a rewarding job in that you will know your efforts are helping to accomplish something meaningful.

If you have any doubt that NROTC is having any real positive impact on people, read this page.
