National Remember Our Troops Campaign, Inc. (“NROTC”) is a Maryland non-profit corporation recognized as tax-exempt under IRS § 501(c)(3). All donations or contributions made payable to NROTC are fully tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.

LOCAL OUTREACH:

is officially partnered with The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, (VA) in their latest groundbreaking effort to end veteran homelessness, Operation Reveille. The VA is in the process of conducting over 200 “Operation Reveille” Stand Downs in local communities throughout the USA during 2017. Operation Reveille Stand Downs are typically one to three-day events providing supplies and services to homeless Veterans, such as food, shelter, clothing, health screenings, VA and Social Security benefits counseling.

Local Stand Downs are widely publicized in an effort to attract those local veterans who are in need. At these Stand Downs,  provides basic needs items as well as making veterans aware of the services our organization is able to provide including debt negotiation, VA benefits counseling and PTSD assistance.

This project has been a life saver for over 18,000 homeless veterans to date.

Pays it Forward to help HUNDREDS

At the Pittsburgh, PA Western PA Veterans Stand Down National Remember Our Troops Campaign a Maryland 501c3 delivered Hygiene Packs consisting of a 30-day supply of personal hygiene items, 250 winter coats, 20 comfort pillows, 250 Resource Cards, 250 Thank You for Your Service Cards and 250 rubber boots to homeless and displaced veterans; in memory of Leo Kaczynski. The Kaczynski family hasbeen in the Pittsburgh area for over 90 years.

National Remember Our Troops Campaign filled 4 tables @ the Pittsburgh Stand Down sponsored by:  Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Pittsburgh Mercy, Shepard’s Heard Fellowship, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania and Veterans Place.
