PINTEREST Is A Powerful Recruiting Tool If You Know How To Use It!
PINTEREST has over 100 million registered users. Now that Pinterest is a full-blown cultural phenomenon, people have started considering it for uses other than inspiration for recipes, home decor and the latest fashions. And with a shaky economy and millions of people either out of work, underemployed or looking to change jobs, Pinterest is now being used as a job search tool.
As an Event Coordinator with NROTC you should be using PINTEREST… as a Recruiting Tool!… It’s simple and easy!
If you have a personal PINTEREST account it does not really matter. You can simply create another “Board” and call it “Jobs At NROTC”
If you do not have a PINTEREST account, create yours HERE.
If you want you can use NROTC’s PINTEREST page as a guide. Once you have your PINTEREST account you can even “PIN” from our page.

Right-Click NROTC’s Official Seal to the right-above if you want and save it to your computer with a right-click for uploading to PINTEREST.
After you create your PINTEREST page now you will want to start “PINNING”.
Not knowing just how familiar you are with PINTEREST most of this is easy. If you are unfamiliar, you should be able to get the hang of it easy enough.

As mentioned before, help people find your content by hashtagging your PINTEREST posts. The # symbol in front of keywords identifies your posts to people searching for related information. For instance, the use of #jobs, #hiring, #work #SalesJobs #OutsideSales #VeteranJobs #JobPostings #EmploymentOpportunities or whatever you like will attract job seekers and expand the reach of your posts. When hashtagging phrases, always capitalize each word in the phrase.
Hashtag Hint: Because you are looking for people who reside within your division, I recommend that you use more specific hashtags such as #Jobs(YourState) #Jobs(YourCity) #(YourState)SalesJobs #(YourCity)SalesJobs #Employment(YourState) #Employment(YourCity) etc.

When someone submits the “Employee Intake” form from this page it arrives in our email box “With A Signed Table Representative Agreement” and if the applicant lives within your division, we will forward this over to you by email or fax. Now you have their phone number! You will want to follow-up by email AND BY PHONE!
NROTC is also conducting recruiting efforts from Headquarters. Any job applicants we receive from our efforts who reside in your division will also be immediately forwarded to you.
