Dear Readers,
First, I would like to welcome our regular and new subscribers. If you are reading this newsletter on
our website, I also want to welcome you and invite you to become a regular subscriber also. As a subscriber, you will be informed
monthly on our charitable activity.
Its easy, just look for the sign up area on the left margin of our website.
This is only the second newsletter to be published by the NROTC. We are still a very new organization and we are beginning
to get a little publicity. A press release was issued from our headquarters in Essex, Maryland to our local community newspaper, The
Avenue News. It was published on January 25, 2006. A feature article on the NROTC and an interview with Sean Rosekrans, one of our
representatives, was published on January 15, 2006 in the Tri-County Times in Fenton, Michigan. We have just scanned these articles and
posted them on our website. They are also posted immediately below:

We have begun our national hiring campaign for outside sales representatives and work at home telemarketers. Shortly we hope to have
enough people soliciting contributions on our behalf to keep pace with the dramatic increases in service banner requests we are
expecting.
On January 10, 2006 NROTC sent a Gold Star Service Banner to a U.S. Army casualty officer at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This banner was
presented to Toni Coles, the widow of Sergeant Dominic R. Coles, 25, of Jesup, Ga., who died in Baghdad, Iraq on December 26, 2005.
Sergeant Coles was assigned to the 5th Engineer Battalion. Rest in peace Sergeant Coles.
On January 23 2005, I along with our Vice President, Tom Conlan, each had the sad but extreme honor of presenting two Gold Star Service
Banners at the funeral home. One was presented to the widow of, and the other to the parents of, Corporal Justin J Watts of Crownsville
Maryland. Justin was
twenty years old and a marine who recently died in Iraq. Corporal Watts was with the 3/1, the 3rd Battalion 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division.
Rest in peace Justin.
It has been our honor to fulfill 92 Blue Star Service Banner requests during the month of January 2006. For privacy reasons and as a matter of
military secrecy, we do not publish these names, only the addresses.
Immediately below is a list of the homes that are now proudly displaying a Blue Star Service Banner. We pray that your loved ones
return home safe, and soon.

Special Note: On June 2nd, 2006 NROTC decided that in order to further protect all of our service banner donees from anyone,
including domestic terrorists who may want to do them harm, that we will no longer publish their actual street number. We have gone
back into our five previous "The NROTC News" newsletters including this issue and deleted the street numbers. Due to the fact that
we are at war and not everyone supports our troops, we believe we have made the right decision
