Dear Readers,

Welcome to our monthly newsletter. If you haven't subscribed yet, please do so. As a subscriber, you will be informed monthly on our charitable activity. Its easy, just look for the sign up area on the left margin of our website.

This is only the third newsletter published by the NROTC. We are still a very new organization.

Did you know there are over seventy thousand miles of highway across our nation that are officially designated as Blue Star Memorial Highways? We just found out ourselves. There is a very real and truly visual legacy of the Blue Star Service Banner still surviving today! We did some research and published it on our website. It is very interesting reading. Here is the link:

The Blue Star Memorial Highways

Our "Home" page and the "About Us" page have both evolved somewhat in the last month. Our newsletter subscribers may want to re-read these pages: http://www.nrotc.org/

We are having our first ever "Fundraiser Concert" in Baltimore, Maryland on April 1st, 2006. Details can be found on our website.

In February 2006 it was our honor to fulfill 29 Blue Star Service Banner requests. Three of these banners had two stars and three had three stars. That's what I call a real family effort!

For privacy reasons and as a matter of military secrecy, we do not publish these names, only the addresses.

Immediately below is a list of the homes that are now proudly displaying a Blue Star Service Banner. We pray that your loved ones return home safe, and soon.

Thank you for reading.

That is all.

Sincerely,

Tom Ruley, President, NROTC

Special Note: On June 2nd, 2006 NROTC decided that in order to further protect all of our service banner donees from anyone, including domestic terrorists who may want to do them harm, that we will no longer publish their actual street number. We have gone back into our five previous "The NROTC News" newsletters including this issue and deleted the street numbers. Due to the fact that we are at war and not everyone supports our troops, we believe we have made the right decision
