Issue #15, NOVEMBER 2007 Issue Date: November 6th, 2007 Total Active Subscribers: 50 From: Tom Ruley, Founder and President, NROTC Dear Readers, This newsletter is viewed by the general public entering from our website and is emailed directly to our subscribers. If you haven't subscribed yet, please do so. As a subscriber, from time to time you will be informed on our charitable activity. Its easy, just look for the sign up area on the left margin of page one of our website. I can't believe another year is almost gone. Here are just a few lines and I will give you the numbers on the service banners we have delivered since our last newsletter in September, 2007. There can be no doubt that NROTC is accomplishing a very worthwhile goal if only in a small way compared to the tremendous overall need. If any of you reading have any doubt at all, please read: What Our Service Banner Recipients Are Saying Please remember our troops and their families and try to do something,... anything... to honor their service and sacrifice. Help us financially if you can. If you work in private industry, please ask your employer to support us. If you are a veteran, ask your local VFW or American Legion Post to support us. Consider volunteering some of your time or becoming a commissioned NROTC Representative. Click the "Become A Representative" link on our website. To our 50 current subscribers and other readers, I ask another important favor. Vote for us on R. Lee Ermey's website! Just click the banner at the bottom of this newsletter. As our regular subscribers are aware, this newsletter is also our medium for documenting the good work that we do. On September 4th, 2007 we mailed out: 13 Single Star Blue Star Service Banners
On November 5th, 2007 we mailed out: 42 Single Star Blue Star Service Banners
A sincere thank you goes out to our recent donors:
10-21-07 - Dan Adams, NROTC Trustee - Baltimore, Maryland
We pray that all of our active duty troops will return home safely to their families and friends at the end of their patriotic tours of duty. Finally, let us not forget the 3,849 (at this writing), who have died in service to our country so far during this Global War on Terrorism. We remember also our 28,139 who have been wounded so far. Our hearts go out to them, their families and caregivers. Thank you for reading and thank you for voting for us on R. Lee Ermey's website! That is all. Yours in freedom,
Tom Ruley
PLEASE GIVE NROTC A REAL QUICK VOTE ON THE GUNNY'S WEBSITE... (It helps us get a higher placement on the list and more people will find out about us) (Click on the banner)
